1. What is Surf Sling?

Surf Sling is a parent-powered tow rope for kids to ride a bodyboard in shallow water.
It brings a wakeboarding-style experience to the beach — no boat, no deep water, just running, pulling, and gliding.

2. What age is Surf Sling suitable for?

Surf Sling is recommended for ages 4 and up with active adult supervision at all times.

3. How does Surf Sling work?

The Surf Sling has two sections:

  • A 7 ft tow rope with a small handle for the parent

  • A 6 ft PU-covered bungee section with a larger handle for the child

You can:

  • Connect them together for a full wakeboard-style ride, or

  • Attach the bungee section directly to a bodyboard for younger kids

The bungee provides a smooth, fun slingshot effect.

4. Can my child use it without a bodyboard?

Yes — kids can kneel or hold the handle directly, but for the best experience we recommend using a standard children’s bodyboard.

5. Is Surf Sling safe?

Yes — Surf Sling is designed for shallow water play, typically ankle to knee depth.
Safety guidelines:

  • Always supervise children closely

  • Use in open, shallow water

  • Avoid crowded areas

  • Make sure the bungee is not overstretched

6. Is Surf Sling suitable for beaches with waves?

Yes — it’s designed for use in gentle waves or flat shallow water.
Avoid heavy surf or strong currents.

7. Does the Surf Sling come with a mesh storage bag?

Yes! Every Surf Sling includes a black mesh carry bag with drainage holes — perfect for sandy, wet beach gear.

8. What are the product dimensions?

  • Total Length: ~13 ft

  • Parent Rope: 7 ft

  • Bungee Section: 6 ft (stretches up to approx. 10 ft)

  • Handles: EVA foam for comfort and secure grip

  • Weight: ~600 g (light and easy to carry)

9. How long does shipping take?

We ship with Australia Post.

  • Processing: 1–2 business days

  • Delivery: 2–3 business days
    Tracking is included with every order.

We follow the Australian Consumer Law.
We offer replacements or refunds for faulty or damaged items.

We do not offer returns for change of mind.

13. Can adults use Surf Sling?

Surf Sling is not designed for adults to ride, but adults can:

  • Use the parent handle

  • Pull one or two children depending on age/weight

Maximum recommended pull weight: ~60 kg 

14. Does Surf Sling work on lakes or rivers?

Yes — as long as the water is shallow, calm, and free of obstacles.
